Through the help of various individuals and organizations, including Fundacion Healy in Mexico and Mario's Soldiers in Miami, FL, ISPS was able to donate and send 27 fielding gloves to the children of the Fundacion Healy Baseball & Softball Camps.

These 27 fielding gloves will be enough for 3 teams or 3 simultaneous games to be played at any given time, as the teams may interchange gloves and they change from offense to defense.

These camps are completely free fo charge for the children and could not be done without the generosity and donations from the community.

"We must continue to bring opportunities to play sports for children around the world,"  said Manuel T. Ferrero III, Commissioner of ISPS.  "We couldn't have done it without the help of a bunch of individuals and I couldn't be happier watching the faces of the children as they get the chance to play"  Ferrero added.

ISPS started as FAS in 2008 after Ferrero's brother, PFC Marius L. Ferrero, was killed in Iraq.  Manuel, along with friends and family, started a 6 team men's slow-pitch softball league in his brother's memory as well as founded the Mario's Soldiers Non-Profit Organization which helps underprivileged children in memory of our fallen soldiers.

Fundacion Healy is an organization that contributes to the development of cultural, educational and sporting opportunities aimed at the community in Northwest Mexico.

Con la ayuda de varias personas y organizaciones, incluida la Fundación Healy en México y los Soldados de Mario en Miami, FL, ISPS pudo donar y enviar 27 guantes de campo a los niños de los Campamentos de Béisbol y Softbol de la Fundación Healy.

Estos 27 guantes de campo serán suficientes para que se jueguen 3 equipos o 3 juegos simultáneos en cualquier momento dado, ya que los equipos pueden intercambiar guantes y cambiar de ataque a defensa.

Estos campamentos son completamente gratuitos para los niños y no podrían realizarse sin la generosidad y las donaciones de la comunidad.

"Debemos continuar brindando oportunidades para practicar deportes para niños de todo el mundo", dijo Manuel T. Ferrero III, comisionado de ISPS. "No podríamos haberlo hecho sin la ayuda de un grupo de personas y no podría estar más feliz viendo las caras de los niños mientras tienen la oportunidad de jugar", agregó Ferrero.

ISPS comenzó como FAS en 2008 después de que el hermano de Ferrero, PFC Marius L. Ferrero, fuera asesinado en Irak. Manuel, junto con amigos y familiares, comenzó una liga de softbol de lanzamiento lento para hombres de 6 equipos en la memoria de su hermano, y fundó la Organización sin fines de lucro Mario's Soldiers, que ayuda a los niños desfavorecidos en memoria de nuestros soldados caídos.

La Fundación Healy es una organización que contribuye al desarrollo de oportunidades culturales, educativas y deportivas dirigidas a la comunidad en el noroeste de México.
