Michigan Slow Pitch Softball Players Play in Tournament Despite Stay-At-Home Order

Despite Stay-At-Home Order in Michigan, some players took the risk and played in a slow-pitch softball tournament.

The slow-pitch softball community in Michigan wants to get back to normal.

This weekend, despite stay-at-home orders still in effect, slow-pitch softball players in Michigan go out and play ball!

22 Men's Teams and 15 CoED Teams Participate in Tournament Despite Stay-At-Home Orders in Michigan

In the small town of Trufant, Michigan a few dozen players got together and put on a tournament this weekend despite the Stay-At-Home order still in effect.

During normal times Memorial Day weekend is full of barbeques, picnics, and of course slow-pitch softball.

Due to the current COVDI19 pandemic, all of these activities have been canceled.

But despite the stay-at-home order in the state of Michigan, 22 Men's and 15 CoED Teams participated on just two fields with no lights in Trufant.

The tournament will go on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
