Tegucigalpa, Honduras - Commissioner Manuel T. Ferrero III is expected to name and appoint a new ISPS Honduras Ambassador.

This newly created position for the ISPS organization will be the first of it's kind in the history of International Slow Pitch Softball.

This position is to be appointed by the Commissioner of ISPS and is to represent ISPS on the behalf of the Commissioner in the designated territory.  In this case Honduras.

ISPS Honduras has also been another first for ISPS as the first true Central American country to affiliate with ISPS.  Mexico was originally placed in the ISPS Central America region, but then was moved when Honduras affiliated earlier this year.

ISPS Honduras will also hold democratic elections for it's directors this coming July 25th.  Also a first for the ISPS organization.

Commissioner Ferrero is expected to watch the election process but is not to participate or vote in honor and respect of sovereignty for the independent ISPS territory.

"I am so proud of the work being done in Honduras.  I am also very interested in seeing how the democratic process is carried out as they embark on a new journey in ISPS history." said ISPS Commissioner Manuel T. Ferrero III

"This will be the first time democratic elections are held in an ISPS territory.  Before it was always by appointing or affiliation.  We are extremely happy to see this evolution, it truly is a beautiful thing." continued Ferrero.

Rumor has it that there are many potential candidates for this positions from both inside and outside of Honduras.  One thing Commissioner Ferrero mentioned was the women's slow pitch softball game.

"The person I select will have to focus not just on the men's game, but also on the women's game.  We cannot forget our women and we must continue to help grow the game for both genders." mentioned Commissioner Ferrero.

The new ISPS Honduras Ambassador is to be appointed and named on Monday, July 27, 2020.

ISPS Commissioner postpones naming of ISPS Honduras Ambassador until August 3rd 2020.

This coming after yesterday's elections were postponed until Aug 2nd 2020.

Tegucigalpa, Honduras - Se espera que el comisionado Manuel T. Ferrero III nombre y designe un nuevo embajador de ISPS en Honduras.

Esta posición recién creada para la organización ISPS será la primera de su tipo en la historia del Softbol Internacional de Lanzamiento Lento.

Este puesto será designado por el Comisionado de ISPS y representará al ISPS en nombre del Comisionado en el territorio designado. En este caso Honduras.

ISPS Honduras también ha sido otra primicia para ISPS como el primer país centroamericano verdadero en afiliarse a ISPS. México se colocó originalmente en la región de ISPS Centroamérica, pero luego se mudó cuando Honduras se afilió a principios de este año.

ISPS Honduras también celebrará elecciones democráticas para sus directores el próximo 25 de julio. También un primero para la organización ISPS.

Se espera que el comisionado Ferrero vigile el proceso electoral, pero no participará ni votará en honor y respeto de la soberanía del territorio independiente del ISPS.

"Estoy muy orgulloso del trabajo que se está haciendo en Honduras. También estoy muy interesado en ver cómo se lleva a cabo el proceso democrático a medida que se embarcan en un nuevo viaje en la historia de ISPS". dijo el comisionado de ISPS, Manuel T. Ferrero III

"Esta será la primera vez que se celebren elecciones democráticas en un territorio de ISPS. Antes siempre fue por nombramiento o afiliación. Estamos extremadamente contentos de ver esta evolución, realmente es algo hermoso". continuó Ferrero.

Se rumorea que hay muchos candidatos potenciales para este puesto tanto dentro como fuera de Honduras. Una cosa que mencionó el Comisionado Ferrero fue el juego de softbol femenino de lanzamiento lento.

"La persona que seleccione tendrá que centrarse no solo en el juego masculino, sino también en el femenino. No podemos olvidar a nuestras mujeres y debemos continuar ayudando a que el juego crezca para ambos sexos". mencionó al Comisionado Ferrero.

El nuevo embajador de ISPS Honduras será nombrado el lunes 27 de julio de 2020.

El Comisionado de ISPS pospone el nombramiento del Embajador de ISPS en Honduras hasta el 3 de agosto de 2020.

Esto después de las elecciones de ayer se pospuso hasta el 2 de agosto de 2020.
