As the ISPS Honduras elected officials get adjusted to their new positions, ISPS Honduras is already working towards hosting slow pitch softball events in Tegucigalpa.
One of the possible venues is CAMPO GIGANTE.
"We are very excited for the possibilities and potential in Honduras." said Commissioner Manuel T. Ferrero III.
CAMPO GIGANTE is one of the more popular venues in Tegucigalpa but teams are only able to play in the day as there are currently no lights at the field.
"The illumination issue or lack of illumination is being addressed and we will be looking for the best way to tackle that problem as quickly as possible so that athletes can compete and practice day and night." continued Ferrero.
Commissioner Ferrero and newly elected ISPS Director of ISPS Honduras, Juan Carlos Andino discussed this and more issues on this afternoon's call.
This was the first call between Commissioner Ferrero and Juan Andino after being elected Director of ISPS Honduras.
"What is happening in Honduras is amazing. I am very eager to see what happens and we are ready to start working right away with the slow pitch softball community in Honduras." Finished Commissioner Ferrero.
Stay tuned and more information is released.
