ISPS Commissioner, Manuel T. Ferrero III meets virtually with Marc Stein of SOFTBALL EUROPE 360. They discuss slow pitch in Europe including the 2022 ISPS EURO OPEN and more tournaments and plans for the future of the sport in the continent.

European Slow Pitch on the rise, ISPS Commissioner Meets with SOFTBALL EUROPE 360

ISPS Commissioner, Manuel T. Ferrero III meets virtually with Marc Stein of SOFTBALL EUROPE 360.  They discuss slow pitch in Europe including the 2022 ISPS EURO OPEN and more tournaments and plans for the future of the sport in the continent.  The meeting was very productive and both men are passionate about the sport of slow pitch.

 

The Commissioner kicked things off by thanking Mr. Stein for his work in promoting slow pitch across Europe. He then went on to say that he's impressed by how well SOFTBALL EUROPE 360 is doing, especially the newly released website. Mr. Stein thanked the Commissioner for his kind words.

 

Commissioner Ferrero was impressed with Stein's vision for growing slow pitch in Europe and has vowed to support it in any capacity.

"Marc, I think you're onto something big here," Commissioner Ferrero said. "I'm looking forward to seeing how it all comes together and you can count on ISPS' support."

"Thank you, Manuel" Stein said. "I appreciate your support."

 

The two men then got down to business. They discussed the upcoming 2022 ISPS EURO OPEN and other tournaments that are planned for the near future. The Commissioner is particularly interested in the possibility of growing national ISPS programs in those countries currently playing slow pitch across Europe.

This could be a huge boost for the sport of slow pitch and help to grow its popularity in Europe.  Mr. Stein was receptive to the idea and says that he will support ISPS.

 

The meeting ended on a positive note, with both men agreeing to continue working together to grow slow pitch in Europe. The Commissioner thanked Mr. Stein for his time.  As the call ended, it was clear that there is a new respect between them. They have common goals and will now working together to achieve them.
