ISPS Commissioner Meets with President of the Association of Cuban Professional Baseball Players

The ISPS Commissioner, Manuel T. Ferrero III, met with the President of the Association of Cuban Professional Baseball Players, Mr. Mario Fernandez, today to discuss the current situation facing professional Cuban Baseball Players as well as other important matters.

The ISPS Commissioner, Manuel T. Ferrero III, met with the President of the Association of Cuban Professional Baseball Players, Mr. Mario Fernandez, today to discuss the current situation facing professional Cuban Baseball Players as well as other important matters.  

 

 

 

Commissioner Ferrero was very impressed with the President Fernandez' knowledge and passion for baseball, and was particularly interested in his thoughts on how Cuban players have successfully integrated into Major League Baseball and how he believes it is unfair that they are not allowed to represent their country in the World Classic. 

 

 

 

The President shared his vision for a future where Cuban players are given the opportunity to showcase their skills on the world stage, and he pledged his support to help make this dream a reality. The Commissioner was very encouraged by this meeting and looks forward to working together with the Association to bring talented professional Cuban players to the world classics around the world.

In the meeting with the President of the Association of Cuban Professional Baseball Players the Commissioner discussed how to improve the sports of baseball & softball around the world. The Commissioner suggested that they hold more clinics, training sessions, and provide technical and technological support around the world to help the players improve their skills. The President agreed and thanked the Commissioner for his suggestions.. They both agreed that this would be a great way to improve the quality of the sports across the globe.

 

 

 

The Commissioner and the President also discussed the possibility of an independent team of professional Cuban players being able to play in the world classic. The Commissioner said that he would support this idea and would work with the Association to make it happen. The President was very excited about this idea and said that he would do everything he could to make it happen.

 

 

 

The meeting between the ISPS Commissioner and the President of the Association of Cuban Professional Baseball Players was very productive. They both had a lot of great ideas on how to improve the sports of baseball and softball in Cuba and around the world. It is clear that they are both committed to making sure that Cuban players have the opportunity to showcase their skills. And they both agreed it is something that the world wants to see.

 

 

 

There was also discussion about technology and the best way to use it to advance the sports across the globe. Plans for a big project which includes technological advances for leagues and tournaments around the world are just around the corner. This is surely to make a huge impact on the sports of baseball and slow pitch.
