About the artists and the workshop... The workshop is a small space in the heart of Old San Juan. Lady Lee and Nicolas work diligently on the trophies, taking great care to make each one perfect. They are proud of their work, and rightly so - the Puerto Rican Doors are a beautiful sight, adored by many visitors to San Juan.


Every year, the ISPS Boricua Open Slow Pitch Championships draws teams from all over the world. The competition is fierce, but one of the most unique things about the tournament is seeing the one of a kind trophies awarded to the winners. Each one is handcrafted from scratch at The Poet's Passage workshop, and no two are ever alike.


Lady Lee and Nicolas take great pride in their work, and it shows in the exquisite detail of each trophy.  The Puerto Rican Doors are a truly special sight, and they bring joy to everyone who sees them.
