ISPS HONDURAS GROWS TODAY, AUGUST 25, IN THE CITY OF SOUTHERN HONDURAS, CHOLUTECA, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE FEMALE CATEGORY OF THE SOUTHERN SLOW PITCH LEAGUE OF THE CITY OF CHOLUTECA, CHOLUTECA, HONDURAS WAS ELECTED.

ISPS HONDURAS GROWS IN THE CITY OF SOUTHERN HONDURAS, CHOLUTECA

CHOLUTECA, HONDURAS - ISPS HONDURAS GROWS TODAY, AUGUST 25, IN THE CITY OF SOUTHERN HONDURAS, CHOLUTECA, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE FEMALE CATEGORY OF THE SOUTHERN SLOW PITCH LEAGUE OF THE CITY OF CHOLUTECA, CHOLUTECA, HONDURAS WAS ELECTED.

 

ISPS HONDURAS is a nonprofit organization that promotes and develops slow pitch softball in Honduras. It was founded by a group of individuals who love the sport and wanted to give back to their community. 

 

Today, ISPS HONDURAS has grown to include male and female teams in various age categories, from recreational to adults. ISPS HONDURAS also offers training and development programs for coaches and umpires, as well as opportunities for teams who show promise of competing on the international stage. 

 

The Board of Directors of ISPS HONDURAS is made up of volunteers who are passionate about the sport and its development in Honduras. The Board meets regularly to discuss issues related to the League, such as rulings, player development, and tournaments. 

 

THE NEWLY CREATED LEAGUE PRESIDED BY THE ENGINEER HUMBERTO OSORIO, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE FEMALE CATEGORY WAS MADE UP OF, FROM LEFT TO RIGHT IN THE IMAGE, FRANKLIN ESPINAL TREASURER, MEZLAR AGUILAR MEMBER 2, RAFAEL ARGEÑAL SECRETARY, CARLA CANALES PROSECUTOR, SORAYA MENDOZA PRESIDENT, DIRMA RIVERA MEMBER 4, YAKI ARGEÑAL MEMBER 3, MIRIAM JIMENEZ MEMBER 1.

 

The Southern Slow Pitch League of the City of Choluteca, Honduras was created in order to promote and develop the sport of slow pitch softball in the southern region of Honduras. The league is open to all female teams in the area, and will offer opportunities for players to compete at the local, national, and international levels. 

 

We are excited to see what the future holds for the Southern Slow Pitch League and its members!

 

THIS ACTIVATION OF THIS CATEGORY IN THE SOUTH ZONE IS THE FRUIT OF THE SECOND NATIONAL FEMALE INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT HELD IN THE CITY OF TEGUCIGALPA IN THE MONTH OF JULY, WHERE THE TEAM DIVAS REPRESENTING EL TRIUNFO AND HAWKS GIRLS REPRESENTING TO CHOLUTECA DECIDED TO DIVIDE AND FORM FOUR TEAMS TO BE ABLE TO CREATE THIS CATEGORY.

 

THE NEW TEAMS WILL BE DIVAS AND GIANTS FROM THE CITY OF EL TRIUNFO, REBELS AND DIAMOND DE CHOLUTECA.
