ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: ALEJANDRA PEREZ

Alejandra Perez has been selected as the International Slow Pitch Softball athlete of the week. Perez plays for team Galácticas in Honduras.

Perez is known for her strong defensive skills and her ability to compete in the game.

Offensively, Perez is also a powerhouse. She leads her team in many offensive categories, and she has an impressive number of accolades. In fact, Perez is one of the best hitters in all of Honduras.

Perez began playing softball at an early age. She was quickly recognized as a talented player and was recruited by team Galácticas. Perez has been with Galácticas for some time now and says that she loves playing for the team.

"I love the sport of slow pitch," Perez said. "It's a very demanding sport, but it's also very rewarding."

Perez is a role model for young women in Honduras and beyond. She is a strong advocate for womens' athletics and believes that women should have the opportunity to participate in sports just like men do.

"Women need to be involved in sports so they can learn how to set goals and work hard to achieve them," Perez said. "Plus, it's just a lot of fun!"

Perez is currently training for the upcoming World Slow Pitch Softball Championship. She is hopeful that her team will be able to bring home the championship.

"We have a lot of talent on our team," Perez said. "I think we have a great chance to win it all."

No matter what happens at the World Championship, one thing is for sure: Alejandra Perez is one of the best slow pitch athletes in the world, and she is an inspiration to women everywhere.
