PAULINA VELEZ, an honorable mention player from Tucson, Arizona, has had nothing but great strides in success in a short period of time since she put on a slow pitch glove.

From the moment she started playing, Velez was impressive. She was always one of the better players on her team and showed an innate ability to make the difficult plays look easy. Her skills continued to develop and she soon became one of the top players in her region.

Velez is a tremendous athlete with a lot of skill and heart. She works hard at her game and is always looking to improve. She is also a great teammate and is respected by her peers.
