ISPS Commissioner Affiliates Golden Slow Pitch League in Hermosillo, Mexico: A New Era of International Competition Begins
Recently, the International Slow Pitch Softball (ISPS) Commissioner, Manuel T. Ferrero III, traveled to Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico to affiliate a new league with the ISPS. Accompanied by ISPS Mexico National Director, Luis Figueroa, Commissioner Ferrero visited the Fundacion Healy Sports Complex, home of the Golden Slow Pitch League.
The commissioner was greeted by League Directors, Alberto Sotomayor, and Guadalupe Llanes, as well as the official league announcer and narrator, Moises Noriega. Also in attendance was Ivan Galindo, ISPS Hermosillo Director.
During the visit, Commissioner Ferrero had the opportunity to witness firsthand the passion and dedication of the Golden Slow Pitch League players and organizers. He was impressed by the level of skill and sportsmanship displayed on the field, as well as the organization and management of the league.
The Golden Slow Pitch League is made up of teams from all over the region, with players of all ages and skill levels. The league is known for its inclusive and welcoming atmosphere, making it a favorite among both locals and visitors alike.
