Jonroneras: The Heart and Soul of Guatemala's Inaugural Festival Femenino de Slow Pitch

A Lesson in Sportsmanship

As the dust settles on Guatemala's first-ever Festival Femenino de Slow Pitch, one team leaves an indelible mark—not just for their athleticism but also for their sportsmanship. The Jonroneras bowed out of the tournament after the qualification phase but not without teaching us all a valuable lesson in dedication and enthusiasm for the sport.

Enthusiasm Knows No Bounds

From start to finish, the Jonroneras displayed infectious enthusiasm that lit up the field.

United in Dedication

Many of the Jonroneras have spent a lot of time practicing the sport, while some are newcomers to the sport. Despite this range of experiences, all came together in a show of solidarity, giving their all in every play.

The Road Ahead

The Jonroneras may have exited the tournament, but their influence remains. As the slow-pitch world continues to grow, let their camaraderie and zest for the game be a lesson to us all.
