The world of slow pitch is ever-changing, and at the center of this evolution is the International SlowPitch Softball (ISPS). To delve deeper into the organization's mission, its current state, and future plans, our very own founder and commissioner recently sat down with the "Ball Is Life Podcast."
In the interview, the Commissioner spoke about the humble beginnings of ISPS and how the vision for a global slow pitch organization materialized. "It all started when my brother, PFC Marius L. Ferrero died in Iraq," he noted, as he recounted the initial days and challenges.
The discussion also touched upon the current landscape of slow pitch, how it's distinguishing itself from fastpitch, and what ISPS is doing to advance the sport at both the amateur and professional levels.
What's next for ISPS? Our Commissioner laid out an exciting roadmap for the future, discussing upcoming tournaments, partnerships, and initiatives aimed at elevating the sport globally.
