Historic First: Ema Steals the Base as the Official Mascot for the 2023 Women's Slow Pitch World Championships

For the first time in the history of slow pitch, the 2023 ISPS Women's Slow Pitch World Championships in Honduras will be represented by an official mascot, an energetic and inspirational character named Ema. This landmark decision is a collaborative vision brought to life by the Local Organizing Committee and Gyna Rivas, whose creative insights have played a pivotal role in shaping the tournament's engaging persona.

"Ema represents the strength, determination, and fun at the core of the slow pitch community," stated Commissioner Ferrero. "Gyna's innovative thinking has given us a mascot that not only symbolizes the spirit of our players but also connects with fans and athletes on a global scale."

The Hobduras National Director, Juan Carlos Andino, went on to emphasize the importance of such symbols in sports. "Ema is set to become more than just a figure at the championships; she is a beacon of inspiration and unity, reminding us that slow pitch is about coming together to celebrate our love for the game."

With Ema taking the field, the 2023 championships are shaping up to be an unforgettable event, promising to draw players and spectators into the thrilling world of slow pitch like never before.
