From the get-go, it was clear that the competition would be fierce. The tournament featured four teams: FA Flashers, Balls to da Wall, LDBB, and Latin Legends. Each team brought its unique flair and determination to the field, making every match a spectacle.
Balls to da Wall emerged as a powerhouse during the round-robin stage, winning all three of their games with a staggering +23 run differential, scoring a total of 47 runs while allowing only 24. Their dominance was evident as they crushed the Latin Legends 14-6 in their opening game and continued their winning streak with victories over FA Flashers (16-4) and LDBB (17-14).
On the other hand, LDBB showed resilience and skill, winning one game, tying one, and losing one. Despite a close match against FA Flashers that ended in a 10-10 tie, they managed to secure a significant victory over Latin Legends (20-19), which helped them clinch a spot in the championship bracket.
The championship stage was where the intensity peaked. Balls to da Wall, seeded #1, faced off against Latin Legends (#4) in a gripping semi-final match. Latin Legends, who had struggled in the round-robin phase, found their stride and pushed Balls to da Wall to the limit, though ultimately falling short with a score of 12-11.
Simultaneously, LDBB, seeded #2, faced FA Flashers (#3). LDBB demonstrated their prowess, defeating FA Flashers 17-2, setting the stage for a highly anticipated final.
