The Alajuela Softball Team from Costa Rica has officially committed to the 2024 ISPS Men's 50+ Division World Championships. With a rich legacy of national and international victories, they are ready to take on the world in Tegucigalpa this November!

The 2024 ISPS Men's 50+ Division World Championships, to be held in Tegucigalpa, Honduras from November 1st to 3rd, will showcase top-tier teams from across the globe—and the first international team to confirm its participation is none other than the renowned Alajuela Softball Team from Costa Rica.
Founded on passion, community, and a love for the game, the Alajuela team is no stranger to success. Their roster includes players with a mix of local talent and international flair. In fact, four Hondurans who play fast-pitch have integrated into this dynamic team, creating a unique bond between the two nations. This connection was facilitated by Wil, one of the key figures helping to bring international teams to the upcoming tournament.
Alajuela’s history is steeped in triumphs across various softball categories. As highlighted by the team’s logo, the different colored stars signify their victories in both fast-pitch and slow-pitch divisions. These include 14 blue stars for their national championships in fast-pitch, 11 red stars representing wins in slow-pitch, five black stars marking their modified slow-pitch titles, and a pink star for their women’s victories. Most recently, the yellow star commemorates their win in the Master’s category—a testament to their resilience and skill.
