Step Bros Dominate the Thanksgiving Classic in Florida!

The Thanksgiving Classic Tournament in Florida delivered an unforgettable weekend of slow-pitch softball. Hosted by ISPS, the event showcased the passion and competitiveness of some of the finest teams in the region. With teams battling through challenging games, Step Bros (FL) stood tall, claiming the Men’s Bronze Division Championship with an impeccable undefeated record.

Tournament Recap

The Step Bros’ path to the title was nothing short of spectacular. Finishing with a perfect 3-0 record, they showcased incredible consistency on both offense and defense. Their standout performance included dominant wins like their final game against Balls to the Wall (FL), where they emerged victorious 19-7.

Here are the tournament standings:

  • Step Bros (FL): 3-0, 64 runs scored, 33 allowed, +31 run differential
  • Balls to the Wall (FL): 3-2, 92 runs scored, 74 allowed, +18 run differential
  • Latin Legends (FL): 3-2, 85 runs scored, 88 allowed, -3 run differential

Step Bros’ ability to maintain a tight defense, while delivering big plays at bat, set them apart from the competition. They averaged 21.33 runs per game while holding opponents to just 11—a testament to their team chemistry and preparation.

While Step Bros shone brightest, the Thanksgiving Classic wasn’t short on exciting storylines. Balls to the Wall and Latin Legends fought tooth and nail to secure top finishes, with Latin Legends making a statement in their game against Thicc Sticks (22-15).

The competitive spirit was evident across the board, with every team putting in valiant efforts. However, teams like Beach Boys (FL) struggled to find their footing, despite their strong individual talents.
