Hialeah, FL – The stage is set for an exciting day of competition, camaraderie, and community impact as NALC Branch 1071, in partnership with ISPS USA, hosts a Slow Pitch Softball Tournament on January 19, 2024, at Bucky Dent Park (2240 W 60th St, Hialeah, FL). This tournament promises not only thrilling action on the field but also meaningful contributions off it, with all proceeds benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).

With a $250 team entry fee, teams from across the region will battle it out in a double-elimination format to claim ultimate bragging rights. The event will feature new-in-wrapper slow pitch softball bats as prizes, making the competition even more enticing for participants.

But the day isn’t just about the players – it’s a family-friendly event! Attendees can look forward to fun activities for kids, vendors on-site, and a welcoming atmosphere that brings together the entire community for a greater cause. Balls will be provided for all games to ensure the highest quality of play.

“This event highlights the power of sports to bring people together for a noble cause,” said ISPS Commissioner Manuel T. Ferrero III. “The partnership between ISPS and NALC Branch 1071 showcases how our slow pitch softball community can make a real difference. We’re proud to support the MDA and all their efforts.”
