FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — In a weekend of elite women’s slow pitch softball at Mills Pond Park, NNST/MTP (FL) proved they were the team to beat from start to finish. With a dominant offense, lockdown defense, and championship poise, NNST rolled through the 2025 ISPS May Melee Madness undefeated — capping their run with an 11–9 thriller over FAAFO in the title game.

Their path to gold was anything but easy, but NNST’s dominance was clear. In pool play, they crushed MISFITS 17–3 and overpowered FAAFO 12–2. Then, in the championship game, FAAFO struck back hard — but NNST held strong, fending them off in an 11–9 nail-biter to claim the crown.

“These women showed heart, fire, and what it means to finish strong,” said ISPS Commissioner Manuel T. Ferrero III. “We are incredibly proud to showcase the talent that shines at events like May Melee Madness. NNST/MTP earned every bit of this win.”

NNST/MTP displayed one of the most complete team performances we’ve seen all season in ISPS women's competition. From their 29 runs in pool play to holding their nerve in a close final, their championship DNA was on full display.

FAAFO, meanwhile, showed toughness and consistency throughout. They recorded two shutout wins over MISFITS (12–0 and 11–0) and nearly pulled off a title upset. Despite the runner-up finish, FAAFO left the field with respect and momentum heading into the next ISPS event.

“It’s events like these that elevate the women’s game,” Commissioner Ferrero added. “ISPS is proud to offer tournaments where players can compete, grow, and shine on a national stage.”

With competition heating up and teams raising the bar, ISPS continues to lead the way in delivering top-tier slow pitch softball across the globe.
