UB/Unfinished Business Finishes the Job, Goes Undefeated to Capture 2025 May Melee Madness Men’s Division

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — The field was loaded. The bracket was deep. But in the end, only one team stood undefeated: UB/Unfinished Business (FL), who stormed through the 2025 ISPS May Melee Madness Men’s Lower Division to seize the crown with a flawless 5–0 record, culminating in a powerful 16–6 championship win over Step Bros (FL).

From their opening statement — a 19–7 rout of Latin Legends — to their dominant march through Bad Boys Miami and three meetings with Step Bros, UB proved to be the most balanced and explosive team on the diamond.

“They didn’t just win—they made a statement,” said ISPS Commissioner Manuel T. Ferrero III. “UB/Unfinished Business showed championship-level consistency, power at the plate, and a defense that never blinked. This is the level of play that defines ISPS.”

Step Bros were the tournament’s workhorse — battling through seven total games and clawing their way back from a tough loss to UB in Game 18. They defeated Spring SZN, YEET, Croqueta Crew (twice), and Bad Boys Miami to earn their rematch in the championship.

Their high-powered offense was on full display with standout wins like:

  • 24–9 over Nuthin’ Fancy

  • 16–5 over Bad Boys Miami

  • 9–6 over Croqueta Crew
