ISPS Summer Slam Slugfest 2025: A Double Points Showdown in Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – JUNE 2, 2025 — The summer slow-pitch heat is officially on. ISPS is proud to announce the return of one of its most anticipated tournaments of the year — the ISPS Summer Slam Slugfest 2025, set for Saturday, June 21st at the iconic Mills Pond Sports Complex in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

This DOUBLE POINTS EVENT is part of the official ISPS calendar and is expected to draw elite and up-and-coming teams from across the region hungry for rankings, glory, and bragging rights.

Tournament Details:

• Location: Mills Pond Sports Complex, Fort Lauderdale, FL

• Date: Saturday, June 21, 2025

• Entry Fee: $420 per team

Divisions Offered:

• Men’s Lower (E/D)

• Men’s Upper (C+)

• Women’s Open

• Senior 40+

Each division is set to compete under standard ISPS game regulations, including a 3-game guarantee, 6–10 ft pitch arc, and official ISPS stamped balls. Senior and Women’s divisions have tailored rules that create a level, competitive playing field for all.

“This tournament isn’t just about points — it’s about momentum,” said ISPS Commissioner Manuel T. Ferrero III. “Summer Slam is where teams begin to separate themselves before the fall championship season. It’s where new teams get noticed and veterans make statements.”

The event will feature full in-game coverage via ISPS social platforms, highlight reels, and optional player stats tracking for MVP and All-Tournament consideration. Teams are encouraged to register early as slots are expected to fill before the June 18 deadline.

⚠️ Important Notes:

• ISPS Approved Bat Stamps (ASA/USA & USSSA) will be enforced

• ISPS Blue Rock 44/375 balls required (available for purchase onsite)

• Pitchers must wear face protection or forfeit right to field first contact
