Office of the Commissioner: Policy Announcement on No-Show Teams

To All ISPS Participants and Affiliates,

It has come to our attention that a clear outline is necessary to address the issue of teams that fail to appear for scheduled games at our sanctioned events. We value commitment and integrity in our slow-pitch community and aim to ensure a fair and dependable competitive environment.

Effective immediately, any team that does not show for a scheduled game post-registration deadline or after game times have been released (whichever occurs first) will incur significant penalties. These teams will receive an automatic forfeit for any games missed and, further, will be deducted 1,000 points from their World Points Ranking (WPR).

This measure is to affirm our dedication to the smooth operation of events and respect for the time and efforts of all participating teams and organizers.

We trust that all teams will understand the importance of this policy and adhere to the schedules as committed. Let's all work together to uphold the spirit of competition and camaraderie in the world of slow-pitch.

Play with honor,

Manuel Teodorico Ferrero III
Founder and Commissioner, ISPS
